International estates

Have you ever really thought about how your affairs will be dealt with when you die? Everyone leaves some form of estate. This consists of the assets they own or their debts. Your estate will be divided among your heirs. Who your heirs are is governed by law and by what you decide and record in a will. If you have Dutch nationality and your estate concerns assets in the Netherlands, then the Dutch inheritance law naturally applies.
